Enabling QC Contextual Brand Safety Segments in Ad set

QC Contextual Brand Safety Segments are off-the-shelf brand safety segments available for marketers. They can protect ad campaigns from being delivered on sites containing objectionable content. By leveraging QC brand safety segments that work in a prebid environment, marketers can increase the brand safety protection for their campaigns.

  1. To enable QC contextual brand safety segments within an ad set, navigate to the ad set you would like to update or create a new ad set.

  2. In the Inventory section, expand the Advanced Settings section, then the Brand Safety section.

  3. Click on the Brand Safety, Fraud, and ContextualTargeting drop-down menu.  You can select your segment list here if you have already created a QC brand safety segment list.  To build a new QC brand safety segment list, select Create New Configuration at the top of the drop-down list.

  4. In the Create Prebid Configuration window, give your new configuration a name as Quantcast brand safety segment list is displayed.

  5. You can select the tolerance for the segments you wish to block within the configuration window.

  6. Each list can have a single, multiple, or all segments selected to be blocked.

  7. By selecting the tolerance for the segment, you will exclude the campaign from being served on sites that match the segment.
