# Connected TV (CTV)

Connected TV (CTV) is any device that connects or is embedded in a TV used to stream content over the internet. CTV devices include smart TVs, gaming consoles, and streaming devices. CTV offers the targeting of digital with the lean-back experience of TV. Audiences *lean back* to consume content and you have the opportunity to *lean in* with their message via an ad.
