Using Report Builder to Create a Custom Report
Navigate to the Reports page by clicking Reports from the top navigation dropdown on the top left.
2. On the Reports screen, click the Create Report button on the top right to open the Report Builder template. Note: You can also click the dropdown and select Custom Report Builder.
To name your report, click the pencil icon next to New Report on the top left. Enter the report name and click Save.
The left-hand column has two tabs: Breakdowns and Metrics.
Use the Metrics tab to select the values you to include in your report, such as impressions or clicks. You can choose by checking the box to the left of each metric.
Use the Breakdowns tab to adjust the Level (Campaign, Audience or Creative), Time, Geographic, Demographics, or Delivery dimensions to roll up your data. You can choose by checking the box to the left of each option.
Note: Choosing granular metrics and breakdowns may prevent the report from being available in the dashboard. Larger reports will be emailed as a csv file.
Select the date range by clicking the calendar icon on the right side of the page. A dropdown will appear; you can click one of the options on the left, or choose dates manually in the calendar. Click Update to save your changes.
To filter your report, select the + button next to Filter, to the right of the Breakdowns and Metrics panel.
Choose the parameter you would like to Filter by... from the dropdown.
Select the filter value you would like to include then click ADD.
To include additional filters, repeat steps 6-8 as needed.
Save a Custom Report
Reports may either be exported or saved for future viewing.
To export as a .csv file: Select the export button (a button with an arrow pointing down towards a rectangle) on the top right of the page. It is between the Schedule and Save buttons.
To save the report: select the Save button in the top right hand of the page (by default the report name you entered in step three will be saved).
To save the report under a different name (Save As), click the drop-down on the right of the Save button. A popup will appear, prompting you to type in a new name. After you have entered the name, press Save.
Note: When reports are opened in Excel format, the zip code column may be converted from a string to a number. If the postal code starts with a 0, that 0 is dropped off (e.g. 06345 would be 6345)
