Will Quantcast be able to attribute these conversion events to ads if we don’t supply cookies in the request?

Quantcast will be able to use our existing cookieless attribution technologies to match these events to ads we’ve served.

Will Quantcast be able to report these events as conversions if there is no pixel integration at all?

Yes, conversion reporting will still work if there isn’t any pixel integration on the marketer’s website.

What if I want to run cookie or blended campaigns?

If you would like to run cookie or blended campaigns we strongly recommend that you have our pixel placed instead. We have a number of methods by which you can transmit cookieless data to us (1P). Contact your account manager for more info.

If I migrate to a CAPI, but I still utilize an ad server using modeled conversion attribution, do those two things work together?

This is dependent on the ad server and how they receive impression and conversion event information. While this should be possible, please contact us for confirmation.

If I migrate to a CAPI from your pixel, do I keep my history?

Yes - it uses the same p-code as your existing pixel does.

Will Quantcast deduplicate my conversion events if I have both a pixel and conversion API call that happen for the same label?

Quantcast only deduplicates conversion events if we have a third-party cookie available for both events, and if the events occur within 5 seconds of each other.

Are there any conflicts when sharing data between orgs?

No. All the processing happens server side in the Quantcast platform.

Note: This is mainly applicable to our Trader tier.

Are there any differences in implementing when you are a new or existing customer?

There are no material differences. However, when you are an existing customer, we recommend you roll this solution into your existing campaigns one by one to minimize any impact that may occur from changing processes/technologies. New customers without existing campaign history can start immediately. However, we do always recommend running one campaign to familiarize yourself with our platform. This is optional.

Are there geographic restrictions or limitations for using CAPI?

There are no geographic restrictions for using the CAPI.

Can I use the CAPI with Google Tag Manager, Adobe Launch, or another tag manager?

No, this is not possible. However, for Google, you can use our GTM template in lieu of implementing CAPI yourself. Please find it here. At the moment, we do not offer templates for Adobe or other tag managers.

Can I use the conversion API for offline conversions?

Not currently. If this is an important use case for you, please contact your account manager.

Can I use CAPI across all Quantcast digital marketing channels?

The Quantcast Conversion API is not yet available for CTV, audio, or mobile in-app events. These are future enhancements.
