Description

The Spend vs. Conversions by Hour insight highlights the amount of budget spent and conversions driven for the week. This report averages the lifetime data of the Ad set or Campaign being drilled into.

By visualizing spend for the week, this report allows you to quickly identify patterns in budget and performance during specific time intervals. Our systems are designed to spend based on the behavior of your customers. The system will automatically spend less during the hours with less activity and more during hours with more activity- so there is no need to input day parting. This report is useful in validating any idea you may have about optimal day parting schedules.

Interpreting The Data

  • Y-axis one: The average spend in USD

  • Y-axis two: The average number of conversions

  • X-axis: Day and Hour of the week.  

Definitions:

  • Day of Week Hour: an hour within a day, e.g., 11am on Monday, 11am on Tuesday, 2pm on Friday

  • Avg Hourly Conversions: sum(day of week hour: conversions ) / count(day of week hourly: conversions)

  • Avg Hourly Spend: sum(day of week hour: spend ) / count(day of week hourly: spend)

You can hover over any particular day and hour which will display the average spend and corresponding average number of conversions driven.

Lastly, there is an icon on the top right where you can download the table as a PNG image or CSV.
