# Implement Live Tag in Segment

## **Using Segment with Quantcast**

A comprehensive tagging strategy sets your campaign up for success and provides robust audience insights. The following instructions walk you through the process for placing the Quantcast Live Tags in Segment.

### **Live Tag in Segment**

1. Log in to Segment and select **Quantcast** under the **Integrations** menu.

1. Under **Connection Settings**
  1. Leave **API Key** blank
  2. Enter your account's p-code
2. Under **Connection Settings**, set the **Advertise** toggle to **On**.
3. Select **Activate Integration** on the top right.

This data enables Quantcast to refine optimizations, validate campaign performance, and share detailed insights (e.g., order ID, revenue, product category).

## Verify tag implementation using the Quantcast Tag Inspector

The Quantcast Tag Inspector is a Google Chrome plugin that checks whether your Quantcast Tag and Audience Segments are implemented correctly. Install the Inspector to review individual pages of your site and ensure the audience segments are firing correctly.
