Based on the GDPR regulation and the IAB Europe framework policy, consent will need to be re-acquired after 13 months. Therefore the cookies that Quantcast Choice sets will expire after 13 months, triggering a re-prompt of the consent UI to the user.
Consent will also need to be requested each time the vendor list is updated. In order to offer the best user experience, Quantcast Choice provides an option to delay the reprompt by 30 days or more (see “SHOW NEW VENDORS EVERY...” in the Configuration Option Documentation).
If the Vendor is blocked manually in the Vendor list, the user will be be re-prompted immediately. Hence, we suggest to do the changes to the Vendors' list in bulk. Indeed, if you have made a manual change to your IAB or non-IAB vendor lists, this will cause the CMP to prompt the user to adapt their consent to the latest version of your vendor list.
It is recommended to also be familiar with the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework Policy, TCF v2.0, and the CMP JS API specification. For more information about the IAB Europe Framework please visit here.
