Audience segments from Adobe Audience Manager can be sent to Quantcast through our direct integration with Adobe.
These segments can then be activated as part of an ad campaign or visualized in the form of audience insights. To start the process of sending the segments to Quantcast, please follow these steps:
1. Gather your Quantcast p-code
The Quantcast p-code is an advertiser-specific, alphanumeric identifier that is used to house all data associated with the advertiser account. The p-code starts with ‘p-’ and is 15 digits long. It will look something like this: p-T-12E34S56T78
The p-code is listed on your Quantcast homepage or you can reach out to your Quantcast representative for confirmation on the p-code.
The Quantcast p-code is case and space sensitive. Do not make any edits.
2. Activate Quantcast Destination Accounts in Adobe Audience Manager
Reach out to your Adobe representative to request the activation of the Quantcast destination in AAM. The process for creating a Quantcast destination is not self-serve and will need to be managed by your contact at Adobe. As part of the integration request, include the Quantcast p-code that was gathered in step 1. Your Adobe rep will input this value as part of the destination.
Quantcast recommends setting up two destination accounts within AAM: one for real-time data transfer, and one for batch transfers. The same Quantcast p-code should be used in both destinations.
For the best possible match rate, request that the Quantcast sync pixel gets applied to your website.
3. Map Segments to Quantcast Destinations
Once the destinations have been created, audience segments can be mapped to them. This process can be managed directly in AAM without support from your Adobe rep. To set up the segment mapping, please follow these steps:
a) Navigate to the new destination that was created in step 2 and click edit.
b) In the Segment Mapping section of the destination, search for the segment you want to map and click Add
c) An Edit Mapping modal will open where you can select a start date and optional end date.
d) The Segment ID should be entered within the mapping column.
e) Within the modal, click save. This will initiate the transfer of the segment to the Quantcast destination.
f) If multiple destinations have been configured for Quantcast, repeat the steps to map the segment to the other Quantcast destinations.
4. Confirm Segment Details with Quantcast
After the segment has been mapped, send an email to your Quantcast representative to confirm the segment name and ID. The ID can be found within the segment mappings section of the destinations, and this is what will be used to identify the particular segment on the Quantcast side.
