Quantcast has a direct integration with Salesforce that allows you to quickly share audience segments via their Audience Studio product.
These segments can then be activated as part of an ad campaign or visualized in the form of audience insights. To start the process of sending the segments to Quantcast, please follow these steps:
1. Add Quantcast as new Activation Partner
From the Audience Studio Homepage, navigate to Activation > Partner Management > Create Account. A new Quantcast activation account should be created as an owned account.
A screen modal will appear where you can enter details about the account:
- Account Name - This should be your client/account name - Quantcast
- Partner - Quantcast should be selected from the dropdown
- Enabled - Should be checked
- Upload Segment Map to S3 - Unchecked
2. Confirm Audience Studio Account Details with Quantcast
Email your Quantcast team to confirm that you have built out the new Activation Partner. Within the email, please include your Audience Studio account/instance name. This should be visible in the top right corner when you're logged into Audience Studio. (example below)
Quantcast uses this instance name to map any segments to the appropriate Quantcast account. This mapping should be done before any segments are shared.
3. Update Audience Studio Segments to initiate transfer to Quantcast
Once your Quantcast team confirms that the account mapping has been complete, then you can proceed with the segment transfer.
Navigate to the segment you would like to share and click the Activate toggle. A list of available partners should be presented, check the Quantcast box and save the segment.
After the segment has been updated and saved, send an email to your Quantcast representative to confirm the segment name and ID. The segment transfer process takes about 48 hours to complete.
