Adding Pre-Bid Double Verify Segments in Inventory Manager

Prev Next

Note: Pre-Bid Segments are available for Display only.

DoubleVerify Segments

You can add DV pre-bid segments from two places within the platform: when building/editing an ad set and within the inventory management app.

Adding/Updating Pre-Bid Segments in the Inventory

  1. To add or update DV pre-bid segments within the Inventory app, select Inventory from the navigation menu.

Navigation menu showing various sections including highlighted Inventory under Assets.

  1. To create a new group, select Create Prebid Configuration.

Interface showing 'Prebid Lists' with an option to 'Add New List'.

  1. To update an existing group, select the pencil icon for the group you would like to update.

  1. In the configuration window, you will find a list of IAS Fraud and Brand Safety content segments. You can determine your brand's tolerance for each content segment by selecting the corresponding Moderate Risk, High Risk, or High Risk options. By selecting an option, you will exclude content that matches this criteria from the bid process.

5. At the bottom of the window, you can enter IDs for contextual segments. The IDs you enter correspond to curated content categories beyond the standard brand safety offering. (List of Segment IDs Here) When enabled, Quantcast will avoid serving impressions on webpages classified as this content category by IAS. If you need assistance with custom contextual segments, please contact your IAS representative.

In the example below, we entered the Home Insurance segment ID. This would prevent your ad from appearing next to content IAS has determined to be negative news or sentiment related to Home Insurance.

Note: Page content that has not been rated by IAS is always avoided. This decreases the risk of serving ads in an unsuitable brand context.

  1. Once you have defined your IAS settings and named the IAS Group, select Save. The new or updated IAS group will be available to add to all existing or new ad sets.
