Find the [Quantcast Tag Inspector in the Chrome Web Store](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/quantcast-tag-inspector/ffjncjpkoanpjjmcdonkhfammlhfapll?hl=en) and add it to your Chrome browser 2. Look for the black Quantcast icon in the top right of your Chrome browser to ensure it has been installed 3. Navigate to your website 4. Look for a white checkmark in the Quantcast logo, confirming that the tag is functioning properly ### **Troubleshooting Tag on Page** If the tag inspector tool does not detect the tag on the page, follow these steps: 1. Confirm the tag has been moved to production (your live site, not your staging environment). 2. Validate whether the tag is firing independently of the Tag Checker tool - use Chrome Dev Tools to look for the tag call. A call to the Quantcast server will resemble this: | http://pixel.quantserve.com/pixel;r=2097142827;labels=_fp.event.Purchase%20Confirmation;orderid=123456789;revenue=100;event=refresh;rf=0;a=p-1234557891234;url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.quantcast.com%2F;ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.quantcast.com%2F;fpan=0;fpa=P0-1474956269-1509051675707;ns=1;ce=1;cm=;je=0;sr=2752x1152x24;enc=n;dst=1;et=1519851455672;tzo=480;ogl= | | --- | 3. It may take a few minutes for the tag to begin firing, and up to 15 minutes to see an event label. 4. Check that the tag has not been modified: either review the source code (if implemented directly on the site) or access the 3rd-party container tag. Any modification to the source code may prevent the tag from firing. 5. If these steps do not resolve the problem, please reach out to Quantcast support. ## **Audience Segment Collection** Check that your audience segments are being collected 1. Click on the Quantcast logo with the checkmark 2. A pop-up dialog will load, showing the page name, URL, P-code, tag call, and Audience Segment (under Event Labels) ![Quantcast tag detected on demo.quantcast.com, collecting audience data and network call details.](https://cdn.us.document360.io/9a180fa0-df3b-4942-a5f6-b3905cf917d9/Images/Documentation/Event%20Manager%20Tag%20Inspector.png?sv=2026-02-06&spr=https&st=2026-11-08T07%3A25%3A36Z&se=2026-11-08T08%3A25%3A36Z&sr=c&sp=r&sig=BBT4c9qJgul6lpi7j1gOLP7VeZl%2FQBlKchbrEDRZfCI%3D) ### **Troubleshooting Audience Segment Collection** Troubleshooting: If the tag inspector tool does not show the correct Audience Segment, follow these steps: 1. Access the Live Tag tool by logging into your Quantcast account. 2. Select Event Manager from the top navigation bar, then select the segment that is not firing correctly 3. Edit the rule to reflect the intended condition 4. Publish your rules If these steps do not resolve the problem, please reach out to Quantcast support.
