Setting Agency and Third Party Vendor Fees

Article summary

Setting an Agency Fee in the Quantcast Platform allows you to automatically deduct your agency margin from total spend, media spend, inventory spend only, or budget only. Instead of manually calculating spend to include your fee, you can set them in the platform and we will incorporate this percentage into our budget allocation.

Note: Agency Fees will not appear on invoices. You will always be billed for the net amount.

Organization owners can set and edit the Agency Fee within the Account section of the Organization Manager.

Understanding Agency Fees (Max, Pro, or Enterprise product tiers)

The Agency fee is defined as a percentage of the total Budget to be delivered. For example, if you set the agency fee to 20%, and then run an adset with a budget of $1000, Quantcast will only bill you for $800. Your delivery for that ad set will be equivalent to what it would have been if you spent $800 but will be reported as $1000 worth of Budget Delivered and budget-derived metrics.

Understanding Agency Fees Types (Trader product tier only)

As a Trader client, you have more options for calculating the Agency fee. You can select one of the following options:

  • Total Spend (inventory + all fees): The Agency Fee will be applied on top of Inventory and all the other fees in a compounding manner

  • Media Spend (inventory + media fees): The Agency Fee will be applied on top of Inventory and Media Fees in a compounding manner

  • Inventory Spend Only: The Agency Fee will be applied directly on Inventory.

  • Budget Only: The Agency Fee will be applied directly on the initial total budget, regardless of any other fees

Note: The Budget Only option is only available upon request.

Note: If you need assistance calculating the final Agency Fee allotment, please reach out to [email protected].

The Agency and Third Party Vendor fees will appear in the shopping cart breakout at the ad set level. Once you expand the shopping cart breakout, you will see the Fees listed, as shown in the example below:
