Cookieless Activation

Cookieless Activation allows you to reach audiences that, traditionally, are not reachable due to lack of third-party cookies, therefore expanding your reach.

How to activate:

Traffic or Conversion objective campaigns

  1. On the Campaigns page, create a Traffic or Conversions objective campaign or edit an existing ad set.

  2. In the Ad Set window under Audience, you will see +Add Cookieless. Click Lookalike to expand, then select one of the third-party Cookie Type inventory options: All, Cookies (default setting), or Cookieless.

  • All: Includes cookie and cookieless inventory.  See below for cookieless inventory restrictions.

  • Cookie: This inventory is set by default.

  • Cookieless: Select to only prospect inventory without third-party cookies. NOTE: Retargeting and demographics will not be available for cookieless inventory.

Reach objective campaigns

  1. On the Campaigns page, create a Reach objective campaign or edit an existing campaign.

  2. In the Ad Set window under Targeting, click Cookie Type to expand,  then select one of the third-party Cookie Type inventory options: All, Cookies (default setting), or Cookieless.
