Video and Native Creative Placement
When using Native or Video creatives in Quantcast Ad Sets, you can indicate the placement for the creative. For full instructions on creating an Ad Set, see the Creating a New Ad Set article.
Native
Note: Native Placement is now configured at the Ad Set level, in the Creatives section.
When you attach a Native creative to an Ad Set, you can choose a placement from the following options.
In-feed: a native ad displayed as part of a social, content, or product listing feed (but clearly labeled as an ad).
Recommendation: a native ad commonly displayed below the article content.
In-article: a native ad displayed on the article page or single image page.
Side-rail: a native ad displayed in the ads section outside of the core content.
Video
When you attach a Video creative to an Ad Set, you can choose linearity, position, player size, and placement from the following options. If you do not choose settings in these sections, the default targeting for each will be All.
In-Stream: Video ad within the same stream as the video it is attached to when the sound is defaulted to "on".
Out-Stream: Video ad delivered outside the same stream as the video, or where the sound is not defaulted to "on".
Position (In-Stream only)
Pre-Roll: Plays before the video to which it is attached.
Mid-Roll: Plays in the middle of the video to which it is attached.
Post-Roll: Plays at the end of the video to which it is attached.
Placement (Out-Stream only)
In-banner: a video ad displayed within an HTML page just as a display (banner) would. Also referred to as an “In-page video ad.”
In-article: a video ad that loads and plays dynamically between paragraphs of editorial content, existing as a standalone branded message.
In-Feed: a video ad displayed as part of a social, content, or product listing feed positioned in place of a post (but clearly labeled as an ad).
Interstitial: a video ad displayed in between the transition from one HTML or app view to another and covers the entire or a portion of the screen area, but it is always on screen while displayed.
Player Size:
Small: The dimensions of the video player are 400x225 pixels or smaller.
Medium: The dimensions of the video player are between 400x225 and 1280x720 pixels (inclusive).
Large: The dimensions of the video player are 1280x720 pixels or greater.
