Article summary

A comprehensive tagging strategy sets your campaign up for success and provides robust audience insights. The following instructions walk you through the process for placing Q Pixels in Ticketmaster.

💡 Reminder:

  • Do not alter the code. Any edits to the code may result in the tag not firing.

  • The tag does not interfere with your page load because it is asynchronous (it loads in the background). See Get Started with Quantcast Tagging for more technical details.

⚠️ What you need to continue:

Q Pixel (tag code available in the Quantcast Platform on the Q Pixel page)

Q Pixel in Ticketmaster

  1. Log in and select Marketing on the left.

  2. Click Add New at the top and select Pixel from the dropdown menu.

    ticketmaster_1

  3. Set the Start Date to today.

  4. Enable No End Date under dates.

  5. Select all Domains applicable to the client.

  1. Under Select Pixel Vendors, choose Quantcast from the list.

  2. Enter your P-code.

  3. Under Custom Labels, select TM Variable.

  4. Click Save Pixel Tracking

💡 Tip: For the Q Pixel to fire on both Channels, two versions of the Q Pixel must be set up. If you select Ticketmaster to start, a second version must be installed with Account Manager selected.

💡 Tip: Ticketmaster likely only covers your conversion event and funnel. It’s important for Quantcast to have your complete site tag to provide robust insights and strong performance. Access our Implementation Guide Library to retrieve instructions for how to implement your tag on the remainder of your site (e.g., homepage, product pages, etc.) when using a tag manager, ad server, or when installing the code manually on your site. Questions? Please reach out to your Account Team.

Verify tag implementation using the Quantcast Tag Inspector

The Quantcast Tag Inspector is a Google Chrome plugin that checks whether your Quantcast Tag and Audience Segments are implemented correctly. Install the Inspector to review individual pages of your site, and make sure the audience segments are firing correctly. For more information, see the Inspect Your Tag help document.

You are done! Please check the Q Pixel app to confirm that your tags are collecting data. If you are not seeing any activity, reach out to [email protected] or submit a Help Center request at www.quantcast.com.  For more information on tagging, see our Tagging Overview article.

The Quantcast Pixel can also be used on other ticket-selling sites. You will likely need to apply the full code version of the conversion tag to your account's HTML coding area. Please contact Quantcast for help with troubleshooting - we are here to help!
