Understanding Campaign and Ad Set Insights

Understanding audience insights helps to inform targeting and identify marketing opportunities. Throughout a campaign, you can view insights on the audience targeted by each ad set. 

Viewing Campaign and Ad Set Insights

  1. Once your campaign is live, navigate to the Campaigns screen of the Quantcast Platform. 

  2. Find the campaign or ad set you would like to view. Hover over the ad set and click Insights. For ad set insights, select Insights on any ad set. For campaign insights, select Insights on any campaign.

  1. At the Campaign level, you can select Performance, Details, Demographics, Insights Lab, or Health Check from the menu in the insights window that expands on the right-hand side. At the Ad Set level, you will also find Analysis by Q.

Performance

The Performance tab includes a chart that compares two metrics. To change which metrics you are comparing, click on the dropdown menu on either metric.

Details

On the Details tab, you will see the details of your Campaign or Ad Set.

 Demographics

Under Demographics, you can compare delivery and performance by demographic. The top row in each demographic category shows the overall breakdown for the selected ad set.  You can see the Campaign/Ad Set average CPA, reach, conversion, and impression totals. 

At the top of the Ad Sets section, you will see additional interests that may help you improve your audience reach. 

Content interests including books, maps, and technology for audience targeting in advertising.

To add these interests to your audience, select those you want to add, then click either Add to Selected Ad Set or Create new Ad Set.

NOTE: Content Interests are currently unavailable for CTV or Cookieless Ad Sets.

Below that, you will find the demographic categories that can be compared to the campaign average. Reach and conversions comparisons will be listed as numbers you can compare to the total.

Lastly, you will also see impression numbers shown in different colors relative to the campaign average.

Six demographic categories are available. (Demographic categories vary by country targeted) These attributes are displayed for each demographic category, including campaign average, CPA, Reach, Conversions, and Impressions.

  • Household Income: Bracketed by $0-50K, $50-100K, $100-150K, $150K+

  • Education: No College, College, Graduate School

Insights Lab

Health Check

The Health Check tab gives you a quick view of the health of your Campaign or Ad Set.
