FAQ: Ad Set Set Up

What is a recency window?

The ability to define the recency window is a common feature within the DSP landscape. Our platform also includes this feature, which helps reinforce our pillar of simplicity and ease of use by enabling users to set up campaigns quickly.

A recency window gives you more control and choice over who you are targeting and when your ads are shown.  Recency windows enable you to control the granularity of your retargeting and prospecting by specifying the timeframe during which a cookie must have visited your site to be eligible for retargeting. If the recency window period elapses without a visit from the cookie, the cookie is eligible within the prospecting pool.

My new campaign didn’t populate with all the adsets from the quote in Salesforce.

The Quantcast platform doesn’t automatically sync or import ad sets directly from Salesforce quotes. Ad sets must be created or configured within the Quantcast platform itself. If you expected a 1:1 import, this is not a standard feature—ad set population is a manual or API-driven process within Quantcast.

Sometimes, ad set estimates or audience forecasts may not appear immediately if there hasn’t been at least one full day of conversion data since the last major model change. This can delay the appearance of certain ad set details or forecasts.
