Measure is the Quantcast product you can use to measure traffic to your site.

Tag Your Site

When you sign up for Measure, your first step is to implement the tag on your site. Once your site is tagged, the Measured Audiences page will be where you see your properties and the highlights of the data Quantcast has received.

The Measured Audiences Page

From the Measured Audiences page, you can manage your Quantcast Measure account and the websites you’re measuring.

To access the Measured Audiences page:

  1. Go to www.quantcast.com/user/login.
  2. Enter your email address and click next.
  3. Enter your password.

After you log in, you’ll be sent straight to the Measured Audiences Page. This is where you can manage your account and all of your sites that are using the Quantcast Measure tag.

Here are the things you can do on the Measured Audiences Page:

  • Add a new web property (if you are the property owner or work for the company that owns the property). Click Add property.

  • Edit settings for your existing sites by clicking the gear icon.

  • Get your tracking tag for an existing site by clicking Get Your Tag.

  • View data on each sites by clicking on it.

Domain Dashboard

Each domain dashboard page (or pages, if you’ve added multiple properties) is where you go to view all of your audience data. There are seven tabs on the dashboard, each with a report to help you understand your data. Click on the property you wish to view data for.

For all reports, click the Info button at the top right to see information about the calculations and our methodology.

Overlap

This features enables you to check where your audience is on your other sites (or pages, if you’ve added multiple properties).

Demographics

When you view ‘Demographics,’ you’ll see a snapshot of your audience, broken down by:

  • Gender
  • Age
  • Children in household
  • Household income
  • Education level

Content Interests

Content Interests are the content topics that represent interests of your property's users based on their online browsing behavior across the entire web.

Devices

View which devices are used to access your domains.

Location

Understand from which cities your internet users access your web site.

Traffic

Understand the traffic patterns on your site. As with most of the audience data reports available on your profile page, you can filter your traffic data by:

  • Date range, day, and week
  • Type of traffic—uniques or page views

Other Characteristics

including Shopping Interests, Media Interests, Business and Occupation.
Please note that this section is only available for US audiences.

Shopping Interests

The Shopping Interests report tells you about your audience’s offline purchasing habits across an extensive range of product types, including:

  • Automotive
  • Financial
  • Home Owners
  • Lifestyle & Interests
  • Packaged Goods
  • Psychographics & Lifestyles
  • Purchase Predictors
  • Restaurants
  • Retail
  • Retail Shoppers-Purchase Based
  • Telecommunications
  • Travel

This report lets you see your audience’s preferences in:

  • Entertainment
  • Movies
  • Music
  • Streaming Media
  • TV

Get a better idea of what industry your audience works in by viewing the Business & Occupation report.
