What is the Creative Grade by Q?
Our Creative Grade by Q is a powerful tool designed to evaluate your ad creatives based on industry best practices. By analyzing key elements of your advertisement, the AI provides a comprehensive assessment, assigning a grade for each category and offering concise, actionable recommendations. This tool helps you identify strengths and weaknesses in your creative assets, enabling you to optimize your campaigns for better performance.
The Grading System: Grades and Summaries
The AI evaluates each creative across five distinct categories, assigning a grade of A, B, or C. The grading system is designed to provide clear, granular feedback.
A (Excellent) Outstanding execution across all criteria; flawless for its purpose.
B (Very Strong) Well-designed and effective, meeting or exceeding most industry standards.
C (Acceptable) Functional, but with notable areas for improvement.
D (Weak) Meets minimal requirements but has major weaknesses impacting effectiveness.
F (Poor) Significantly flawed, missing core components, or actively detrimental.
Creative Evaluation Categories
The AI assesses your creative across five key categories:
1. Call to Action (CTA)
Criteria: The AI analyzes the CTA's prominence, clarity, and visual distinctiveness. It must use an action verb and be easily identifiable, often with a contrasting button or a dedicated area. An 'F' is assigned if a creative is missing a CTA.
Key Question: Is the action you want the user to take clear and compelling?
2. Logo & Brand Identity
Criteria: The logo's visibility, quality, and contrast with the background. The AI checks if the logo is instantly recognizable and appropriately sized. A well-placed logo ensures brand association without dominating the creative. An 'F' is reserved for creatives missing a logo entirely, or if it is unreadable.
Key Question: Is the brand instantly recognizable and clearly represented?
3. Brand & Product Imagery
Criteria: This evaluation focuses on the quality, relevance, and authenticity of the visuals. The AI checks if the imagery directly supports the value proposition and brand message, and if products or people are clearly visible and relevant to the target audience.
Key Question: Are the images high-quality, professional, and relevant to the brand and its message?
4. Catchiness & Overall Design
Criteria: This holistic category assesses the overall visual appeal and user experience. The AI looks for an effective color palette, clear visual hierarchy, readable typography, and sufficient negative space. It also considers if the design is engaging, not static, and harmonious across all elements.
Key Question: Is the overall design professional, visually appealing, and effective at guiding the user's eye?
5. Value Proposition & Messaging
Criteria: This category evaluates the clarity, simplicity, and compelling nature of the ad's core message. The AI assesses if the value proposition attracts the viewer's attention, is free from jargon, and communicates a unique selling point or key benefit.
Key Question: Does the ad's message clearly and concisely communicate a benefit to the target audience?
Overall Assessment
Finally, an overall assessment of your creative is made, including a single grade and a summary. It is a holistic evaluation based on the individual category grades.
This comprehensive grading system provides you with a clear roadmap for improving your creative assets and maximizing your advertising impact.
