Tailor messaging and creatives to better contextualize your brand with the type of content/interests that your customers and prospective customers have shown interest in. You can choose from over 160 different interest-based audiences to combine with any saved audience.
How it works
Our direct measurement of the internet and our AI machine learning technology enable us to categorize the content your audiences consume across the web. We scour the internet, analyzing the content on the web pages your audiences are viewing and their behavior online, to generate predefined categories, segments, and/or keywords.
You can choose Predefined Categories, which are based on keywords grouped together, or you can select your own keywords.
Note: Interest-based Audiences are available in English, Spanish, French, and German. Languages will be enabled based on region; for example, accounts based in France will have French enabled.
Add Interest-Based Audience to New Saved Audience

While Creating a Saved Audience, add or exclude any interests/keywords using the Interests box on the bottom left of the Audience Planner screen. Choose the desired language from the drop-down.

Enter the Keywords you would like to apply to your audience. You can also use "AND" logic to filter for audiences that are interested in both "X" AND "Y".
To exclude keywords instead, click on Exclude Keywords.
Once you have finished editing the interests, click Save.
Adding Interest-Based Audiences to an Existing Audience

Navigate to the Audiences Catalog screen.
In the Saved Audiences tab, find the audience to edit. You can find the audience using the search bar or by filtering the audience list by Name, Date Created, or Creator.

Once you’ve located the audience you would like to update, select it by clicking on the audience name or hovering over the three dots and selecting edit.
Add or exclude any interests using the Interests box on the bottom left of the Audience Planner screen, then click Save As to save your changes under a new saved Audience.
