What does Integral Ad Science pre-bid do for customers?
IAS pre-bid allows customers to maximize brand safety controls that are custom to their brand. In addition to Quantcast ad fraud and brand safety proprietary technology, advertisers can enable Integral Ad Science verification technology. Using IAS pre-bid segments, prevent ads from being shown to users on risky content (based on IAS classification) before the bid - thus eliminating the impression from being served on content you deem undesirable.
What are IAS Contextual Segments?
Outside the existing brand safety segments (adult, alcohol, hate speech, illegal downloads, illegal drug, offensive language, violence), advertisers can choose to avoid content falling within 100+ IAS curated contextual categories tailored around industry verticals (e.g., travel, finance, food, etc.) or topical categories (e.g., infectious diseases or natural disasters).
How do we set up the Integral Ad Science pre-bid?
In the ad set creation screen, under Inventory, navigate to the Brand Safety section. Select from the available segments in the Brand Safety, Fraud, and Contextual Targeting section.
Where can I find the IAS contextual segment IDs to use?
Users can use any off-the-self segment ID (s) listed in our Help Center here.
