Audience

What is Audience Sizing?

Audience Size is the total number of devices/uniques we have measured in the Quantcast universe. When reviewing an audience, it is the total number of devices/uniques with the filters you’ve applied on the left-hand side of the page. These are not de-duplicated, which is why the number of devices may be larger than the population of the given location.

Why does the audience size differ from other analytics tools?

We only include devices/uniques for which we have seen sufficient browsing behavior to infer audience characteristics. The audience size will typically be smaller than the total activity on a particular event you are measuring with a tool like Google Analytics.

Which countries does Audience Insights provide data for?

Audience Insights provides data for every country in the world, with a few exceptions, including China, Russia, and North Korea.

How long does it take for insights to populate after tagging my site?

You should expect to see data populate a few days after tagging your site. The data in the Audience tool is updated at least once during the week and once each weekend. Pages with lower traffic may take a bit longer to populate.

How big does the audience have to be to provide a spend forecast?

200,000 uniques over a 30-day period.

Can I create Keyword Audiences using Keywords from other languages?

Keyword audiences are currently only available for English keywords.

Can we use multiple saved audiences in a single ad set?

No, you can not use multiple saved audiences in a single ad set.
