LiveRamp and Quantcast
Quantcast partners with LiveRamp to seamlessly onboard your first-party data into the Quantcast Platform, unlocking enhanced capabilities for campaign optimization and audience insights. Clients can securely upload their CRM data via Quantcast's LiveRamp account through this collaboration. Once the data is onboarded, it will be distributed to the appropriate Quantcast account, where it will be available for campaign execution and analysis using our audience planner tool.
LiveRamp segments within the Quantcast Platform can be leveraged for various targeting strategies, including lookalike modeling, retargeting, and exclusion. For prospecting, our system generates lookalike models based on your LiveRamp audience, while for retargeting or suppression, it directly targets or excludes those specific users.
To maintain the accuracy and relevance of your audiences, we recommend regularly updating your data files.
If you already have an existing partnership with LiveRamp, you can easily share your LiveRamp data with the Quantcast Platform by following the steps outlined in the Sharing DMP Audiences via LiveRamp article.
Contractual Process and Billing
Quantcast's LiveRamp partnership is currently exclusive to Managed Service clients. This partnership requires a minimum spend, a small CPM upcharge, and a signed agreement (if not already included in your original contract). Timeline
See below for an estimated timeline of when an audience segment will be available for targeting after the request to use the LiveRamp Program is made. Suppose this is your first time uploading a file to your LiveRamp account. In that case, Quantcast may need to partner with LiveRamp Support to activate the audience on the backend, which could add additional days to the estimated timeline.

Considerations
Data Type: Quantcast only accepts first-party data; third-party data or a combination of first- and third-party data is not accepted.
Geo-Targeting: You can geo-target the United States, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Italy, and/or Canada with your uploaded audiences. The uploaded data should be representative of the region that is being targeted.
Program Fees: Depending on which country is being geo-targeted, there is a CPM upcharge as well as a monthly budget minimum. Reach out to your account team for more details.
Targeting: Audiences ingested via LiveRamp can be used for Lookalike Targeting, Retargeting, or Suppression. Reach out to your Quantcast account team to determine which type of targeting is best for your campaign goals.
Audience Size: Ensure the initial file upload is sizable. The audience’s size will decrease after LiveRamp and Quantcast undergo their matching process. Other campaign parameters such as brand safety, demographic targeting, viewability, etc. could further impact the size of the final audience as well. Small audience sizes may struggle to scale
LiveRamp File Deletion
We strongly encourage clients to keep their files in the Quantcast LiveRamp seat current. If a file is no longer needed, please ensure it is deleted.
From the Connect homepage, click on Files on the left-hand side of the screen. You will see a list of previous files that you have uploaded.
Select the checkbox next to the file name to delete a file and click the 'Delete' button.
If you wish to reactivate this segment, please notify your Quantcast representative ([email protected]). Our team will assist with re-uploading and redistributing the file.
