Overview of LiveRamp Integration
Quantcast has a direct integration with LiveRamp which allows for segments to be transferred to a Quantcast account via the LiveRamp Connect platform.
The client partners with LiveRamp to onboard first-party data that they can use for campaign targeting. The client will upload their first-party data in their own LiveRamp instance, LiveRamp will match this offline data to Quantcast cookies, and then LiveRamp will organize and send these cookies in the form of an audience segment to the designated QC p-code. The audience segments will appear in the Quantcast platform.
Using this method, clients can quickly and easily use their own relationship with LiveRamp to send through segments without extra fees or additional terms and conditions.
Gather your Quantcast p-code
The Quantcast p-code is an advertiser-specific, alphanumeric identifier that is used to house all data associated with the client account. The p-code starts with ‘p-’ and is 15 digits long. It will look something like this: p-T-12E34S56T78
Your p-code can be found by signing in to Quantcast, navigating to the Accounts page in the Organization Manager, and locating it under the name of your account.
The Quantcast p-code is case and space-sensitive. Do not make any edits.
Activate Quantcast Destination Account in LiveRamp Connect
From your LiveRamp connect homepage, scroll down the left navigation bar to New Destination Account. Search for Quantcast in the search bar.
Hover over the tile and click Activate.
Activate Quantcast Onboarding when choosing an integration.
When configuring your Quantcast Destination Account, you will need to enter information about your specific Quantcast account.
Identifier Types: Keep all options selected.
End Date: This should be a date in the future. LiveRamp will stop sending data to the destination once the end date is reached.
QC ID: Account p-code The "p-" portion of the p-code should be removed when entered.
Destination Account Name: Choose a memorable name for the account.
Click Create Destination Account.
Distribute Data to the Destination Account
From your LiveRamp connect homepage, scroll down the left navigation bar to Destination Accounts. Navigate to the Quantcast destination tile and click Manage.
On the Segment Distribution page, identify the file(s) you would like to distribute. Click the checkbox next to each file you would like to distribute. Click Add To Distribution.
Segments will appear in the Quantcast platform within 24-48 hours. If there is a delay, please contact your Quantcast representative at [email protected]
Confirming Segment Transfer with Quantcast
To validate that the audience segment has been received on the Quantcast side, navigate to Audience Catalog > Customer Audiences.
Once the LiveRamp File Name is visible within this section, the distribution is complete.
