Adobe Audience Manager Integration

Audience segments from Adobe Audience Manager can be sent to Quantcast through our direct integration with Adobe.

These segments can then be activated as part of an ad campaign or visualized in the form of audience insights. To start the process of sending the segments to Quantcast, please follow these steps:

Gather your Quantcast p-code

The Quantcast p-code is an advertiser-specific, alphanumeric identifier used to house all data associated with the advertiser account. The p-code starts with ‘p-’ and is 15 digits long. It will look something like this: p-T-12E34S56T78

The p-code can be accessed on the Q Pixel screen. Click the three dots in the top right corner and select grab code.

A modal window will appear on your screen and you can copy the p-code from here.

The Quantcast p-code is case and space sensitive. Do not make any edits.

Activate Quantcast Destination Accounts in Adobe Audience Manager

Reach out to your Adobe representative to request the activation of the Quantcast destination in AAM. The process for creating a Quantcast destination is not self-serve and will need to be managed by your Adobe team. As part of the integration request, include the Quantcast p-code gathered in step 1. Your Adobe rep will input this value as part of the destination.

Quantcast recommends setting up two destination accounts within AAM: one for real-time data transfer, and one for batch transfers. The same Quantcast p-code should be used in both destinations.

For the best possible match rate, request that the Quantcast sync pixel gets applied to your website.

Map Segments to Quantcast Destinations

Once the destinations have been created, audience segments can be mapped. This process can be managed directly in AAM without support from your Adobe rep. To set up the segment mapping, please follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the new destination that was created in step 2 and click edit.

  2. In the Segment Mapping section of the destination, search for the segment you want to map and click Add

  3. An Edit Mapping modal will open where you can select a start date and optional end date.

  4. The Segment ID should be entered within the mapping column.

  5. Within the modal, click save. This will initiate the transfer of the segment to the Quantcast destination.

  6. If multiple destinations have been configured for Quantcast, repeat the steps to map the segment to the other Quantcast destinations.

Confirming Segment Transfer with Quantcast

The segments will begin transferring after they have been mapped to the Quantcast destinations. The transfer process will take approximately 72 hours.

To validate that the data management platform (DMP) segments have been received on the Quantcast side, you can check two sections of the Quantcast Platform.

Customer Audiences

From the Audiences screen, all transferred DMP segments will be listed in the Customer Audiences section.

  1. Click on the Customer Audiences tab.

  2. The Audience Name and Segment ID should appear.

Ad Set Creation

When building a new ad set, all DMP segments will be available for selection when adjusting the lookalike or retargeting configurations.

The segments can be identified in the platform based on the segment ID from Adobe.
